After every United-Match, your team will be credited some United-Points, which never decrease. The more United-Points your team collected, the larger the special United-Trophy on your team's contact page will be. It is thought about implemeting special gimmicks that can be bought through United-Points.

The United-Trophy keeps growing with every United-Match the team plays. It adorns the club's contact page and comes in three different variants: a small bronze one first, a larger silver one second and a huge golden one third.

It is very likely that the future will bring more trophies, even more valuable ones.

All United-Matches (except Tell-a-Friend and United-Friendly) can be carried out in Carrer-Mode (also called Ladder-Mode or Battle-Mode) so Ladder-Points can be won - or lost. For the calculation of Ladder-Points the difference in prevously achieved Ladder-Points of the two combatants is crucial. Depending on the outcome of the game and the difference of scored goals, the Ladder-Points are calculated. The higher a success is, the more points are won.

For managers with higher ambitions, the goalunited ladder offers the possibility to pick opponents and challenge the best teams to a match.

Playing against a club with significantly more Ladder-Points, is the chance to win lots of points. The club with the higher score risks loosing points.

Every day one Ladder-Point is lost (in case there are any), so that clubs not competing in Career-Mode for some time will slide down the ranking slowly.

The calculation of the Ladder-Points is more complex. It is similar to the Elo_rating_system respectively the FIFA_World_Rankings. In goalunited it is implemented the following way:
